The Magic of Bubbles

Discover the beauty and finesse of South African Sparkling wines. We will travel to JC Le Roux in Stellenbosch. It is here that they produce many styles of sparkling wine including Method Cap Classique and even Non alcoholic sparkling wine for the younger ones. Next we go to Simonsig, home of the the first produced Method Cap Classique, KaapseVonkel.

Then over the Helshoogte Mountains to Franschhoek where By now your tastebuds are all a tingle and your palate is in need of a different sensation, so it’s off to Moreson for a delectable lunch at Bread and Wine, home to one of only three charcuteries in the country, a great deli and fabulous selection of salads and ‘to die for’ desserts.

Now time to understand a little of the French Huegenot history by meandering down this quaint village main road to the Hugenot Monument. We’ll spend just a little while wandering through so you can get into character for our last jaunt of the day. Up to Cabriere, the home of Pierre Jourdan for a tour of their pristine underground cellar and a delightful tasting of their fine bubbles and quality wine.*
